Spaceship Catalogue

The Vast consists of an original set of 10 different ships.  Each ship type has a size and base statistics (0-10) for their Attack, Defense, Shield, Hull, Maneuverablity, Speed,  Durability, Storage, Survey, Scan and Equipment Capacity (S/A/D/S/H/M/S/A/D/S/S/S/E).  Beyond the common ships with these base stats, there will also be uncommon, rare, epic and legendary versions that can occur during random generation.
All Vast ships will be unique and randomly generated based on ship type.  Each ship will rendered in 4k and saved with their metadata (ship type and statistics) on-chain.

Get in the Game

Ship Auctions Coming Soon!

We will bootstrap the game by auctioning a random ship every hour for 42 days. Each ship will come with 100 SpaceDust tokens.

We will then auction one unknown fleet pack a day, forever.  A fleet pack will consist of 4 or 5 ships (4.2 average ships per pack).  The number of ships in these packs, along with the ship types and rarity levels will not be determined until after the auction ends.  Chainlink VRF will ensure all the ships in each pack are determined randomly and fairly.  Each ship pack will come with 420 SpaceDust tokens.

Every ship auctioned will represent a vote in The Vast DAO.

We want to play too!  As founders, we will compensate ourselves with every 24th ship during the hourly auctions. After this, we will compensate ourselves with every 24th fleet pack for the next 4 years of the project. These distributions will not interfere with the cadence of the hourly or daily auctions.

For the first 42 days of single ship auctions, 70% of all proceeds will seed The Vast DAO and 30% will be sent to the founders.  Then, for the first year of fleet pack auctions, 85% of the proceeds will go directly into The Vast DAO while 15% will go to the founders.  In year two this will increase to 90% into the DAO and in year 3 to 95% into the DAO.  After this, 100% of auction proceeds will go into the Vast DAO.
